How To Remove Sticky Label Residue From Glass Metal And Plastics

how to remove sticker residue from glass

I have over 350 bottles in my DIY room and over 200 of them have sticky label residues on them.

So on Monday, I embarked on a journey to get rid of these stubborn residues.

Here is what I found.

Baking Soda and a light carrier oil can remove these residue in less than 5 minutes.

To remove sticky residue from any surface including glass, metal and plastics, follow the follow instruction.

Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil

Mix very well

Apply on the goo or sticky residue.

Allow it to stand for 1 to 5 minutes or less.

Clean with a paper towel or soft cloth.

For stubborn residue, spray rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl Alcohol 70%) on cotton ball and use it to wipe the surface.
