Zero Waste Dish Soap Bar Recipe
Here is the recipe I used to make this Zero Waste Dish Soap Bar
- Used Cooking Oil or Coconut Oil – 822grams
- Water – 266grams
- Lye (zero percent superfat) – 112g
- Lemon Essential Oil – 57g
- Borax (super cleaning additive) – 28g
- Soap Mold
Add your Lemon essential oil at light trace and blend well.
Ensure you boil your borax with little water to dissolve it about 5 minutes before soap making and add it at thick trace .
I made this soap using Cold Process Soap Making Technique.
I also removed the impurities from my cooking oil with a strainer and cheese cloth to remove impurities.
